Dr. Wright completed her undergraduate education at Brown University, and graduated from Columbia University Medical School in 2003. She completed her residency at Memorial Sloane-Kettering in New York in 2008, and was subsequently recruited by the University of Miami School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor. She is a member of several professional organizations including the American Association for Women Radiologists, American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, and the Radiological Society of North America. 

Dr. Wright specializes in the treatment of breast cancer and lung cancer. She has published and lectured on the topic of the integration of radiation and breast reconstruction. Her research interest in breast cancer focuses on the management of locally advanced disease. She offers partial breast irradiation to selected patients as well. She also focuses on the implementation of new technologies for the treatment of lung cancer, including intensity-modulated radiation, image-guided and stereotactic radiation techniques, and respiratory gating, all of which are available at Sylvester Cancer Center. She has several lung cancer protocols open to eligible patients.
