B-Chen Wen, M.D., is a graduate of Taiwan’s Kaoshiung Medical School. He did his residency in radiation oncology at the University of Iowa, and joined the University of Iowa as a faculty member and was later promoted to full professor. In 2000, he was recruited by the University of Miami-School of Medicine for a faculty position as professor.
Dr. Wen specializes in the management of lymphomas, brain tumors and pediatric cancers, and has authored many textbook chapters and papers in peer-reviewed journals on these subjects. In the last few years, he has turned his attention to the management of gastrointestinal cancers, soft-tissue sarcomas and breast cancer.
