Nurses in the Department of Radiation Oncology are often the first team members that patients meet. The nurses are responsible for conducting the initial physical evaluations and assess the patients each week during their radiation treatment. Our nurses play a vital role in ensuring that each patient receives a thorough education about the radiation process and that all their questions are answered.
