REFERRING A PATIENT
In addition to serving patients from Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Diagnostic and Treatment Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, the Department of Radiation Oncology treats thousands of patients referred from physicians outside the University of Miami Health System.
As a referring physician, you can be assured that:
- You will receive weekly updates on your patients by fax or mail
- Your patients will be sent back to your care after their treatment is concluded
In turn, we request that you actively participate in your patients’ followup care by ordering the studies we request.
